	About Us and our Philosophy Learning Playgroups "The gift of learning thru play" Learning Playgroups is a center built on the philosophy that children learn, develop and grow through fun and creative activities. Our Program is aimed at developing the emotional, intellectual and social independence of the child in a creative, warm and stimulating environment. We fundamentally believe children learn by doing, interacting, and expressing. As such, our programs are structured to make play an educational process and effective tool for language, social and intellectual development, all while having fun. The Founder and Director of Learning Programs has over 20 years teaching experience, and her core philosophy and approach to teaching is a unique combination of Montessori, Developmental and Play. Our program curriculum includes a breadth of arts & crafts, science, music, dance & movement, story time and dramatic play. Our program is appropriate for toddlers through preschoolers (18 mos. To 5 years.)
